I was in an elevator at either a workplace or dance school i cant tell,(im 14) and I go to open the door and either a colleague or friend starts walking up to the elevator so I hold the door (his name is mason i learned it from the people later on in the dream but I seemed to know him), but as he gets closer the area starts getting increasingly cold, so I lock the door quickly and go floors down, for the rest of the dream this keeps happening on every floor, but one change is each time I have to pick if I want to save the person on the floor, I save 2 people (complete strangers) out of the 4 floors, and then they make me pay to be rescued, but the weird thing is that as I’m leaving a bunch of gold beads starts falling through the roof and I have a little bag of blue beads, and I start adding the gold beads into i t (i make jewelry to sell) i stop as I see his silhouette walking up to the door and i run away and outside there’s like a reception area with people sitting looking at me confused, and an ambulance they start treating me because apparently I’m freezing cold even though I feel warm, but I’m about to pass out. Then as they’re taking me away I look to the door I escaped through and see 2 random women walk out and look at me weird. Then I woke up.
Dreams can be complex and multifaceted, often reflecting your subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Here’s an interpretation of the elements in your dream:
Elevator Setting: Elevators often symbolize transitions or shifts in life since they move between different floors, representing different levels of experience or emotion. Being in an elevator at either a workplace or a dance school indicates you're grappling with aspects of your social life or future aspirations, perhaps feeling uncertain about where you fit in.
Coldness: As the area becomes increasingly cold when you hold the door, it might symbolize anxiety or fear about letting someone in or trusting others. Coldness could represent feelings of isolation or the threat of vulnerability.
Choices and Rescue: The recurring choice of whether to save people could reflect your sense of responsibility or the pressure to help others, even at your own expense. Saving two strangers indicates a willingness to lend a hand, but having to pay for their rescue suggests that you may feel that your kindness isn't always reciprocated or seems to come with a cost.
Gold and Blue Beads: The gold beads that fall could symbolize opportunities or positive elements in your life that are becoming available to you. The blue beads might represent something personal, perhaps representing your creativity or individuality (since you mentioned you make jewelry). Collecting these beads could signify your desire to build something valuable for yourself.
Ambulance and Treatment: The ambulance and the treatment you receive might suggest that you feel overwhelmed or in need of support, even if you believe you’re handling things fine. The idea of feeling warm but appearing cold to others can indicate a disconnect between how you perceive your emotions and how others see you.
Confused Reception Area: The people in the reception area may symbolize societal expectations or judgments that you feel pressured by. Their confusion might reflect your concerns about how you're viewed by your peers or the broader community.
Women Walking Out: The two random women could represent aspects of yourself or different paths in life that are being revealed once you leave the elevator. Their reaction to you might symbolize your worry about how others perceive your choices or your personal journey.
Overall, this dream seems to revolve around themes of choices, social pressures, responsibility towards others, and personal identity. It may be worth reflecting on how these themes resonate with your current experiences, especially regarding relationships with friends, the responsibilities you feel, and your creative pursuits.
